About BFA:
BFA or Brown fused alumina is an Alumina Rich Sand which had very high hardness of around 9 Mohs which makes it a great abrasive and very high recyclability. For making of BFA very high quality Bauxite Ores are extracted from the mines. These ores are segregated and calcined upto 1800-2000°C which fuses the entire lot which makes it very stable. This calcined material is then crushed and runned through magnetic separators to remove any unwanted Iron impurity.
