To be used for highest performance with lowest cutting time. Preferable to heavy duty jobs. Retention on ASTM 80: 90%+ With negligible dust particles. 80 mesh Garnet Medium: This is very high performing and economical mesh which is a choice of majority users. Can be used for all the job types in Waterjet Cutting from medium to heavy jobs. Retention on ASTM 80: 70%+ With very less dust 80 Mesh Garnet Fine: This is a fine quality of garnet which is to be used for Waterjet Cutting for low intensity jobs like thin sheets or Nylon. Retention on ASTM 80: 45% With very fine particles upto 120 mesh. 8/12 Garnet : It’s a very coarse mesh size of garnet where the particle ranges from 1.7mm-2.3mm. It’s used where aggressive blasting is required. Reusable 3-4 times depending on the application. 12/24 Garnet: This is very high performing and economical mesh which ranges from 0.7mm-1.7mm.
